My daughter Olivia and I stand on the 10th green after I finished my nine holes that started with a hole in one.

image: Hole-in-one ball
My TaylorMade “zero” ball with Olivia written across it was what I used for my hole-in-one ... the first time I hit it with her name on it.

article: BROMLEY COLUMN: What's in a name? Sex Fruit
Parents do a lot of embarrassing things to their children. They show up at the beach wearing black socks with shorts. They loudly ask Missy whether she needs a fresh tube of anti-fungal foot cream, right in front of her entire slumber party. article: LOPEZ COLUMN: Dems’ pro-choice mission
Sixty-five percent. That's Pennsylvania Sen. Robert Casey Jr.'s rating with NARAL Pro-Choice America, the standard measure for a politician's abortion-rights-advocacy purity. article: HENTOFF COLUMN: Preserving the Bush legacy
In his last months, the president is working to ensure that his successor, whomever that may be, will have the greatly expanded power of the executive branch (unprecedented in American history) that Bush instituted after 9/11. Bush's current chief enabler in this ever-increasing surveillance of American citizens in our daily lives is Attorney General Michael Mukasey.

article: REAGAN COLUMN: A ‘welcome back’ to my father
I've been trying to convince my fellow conservatives that they have been wasting their time in a fruitless quest for a new Ronald Reagan to emerge and lead our party and our nation. I insisted that we'd never see his like again because he was one of a kind.
