PORTAGE - Lawrence J. Wojak, 79, of Portage, passed away Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at his home.

Lawrence was born Aug. 24, 1930, in Milwaukee, the son of Nicholas and Barbara Wracza Wojak. He was married to Barbara Ulik, who preceded him in death in 1996. Lawrence worked for Aerial Lift Mfg. for many years.

He is survived by his son, Stephan Wojak of Portage; grandchildren, Adrien and Shannon; their children, Holly, Damien and Austin; his brother, Chester Wojak of Milwaukee; other near relatives and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Barbara, and two sons, Dennis and Gregory.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with Father Jim Murphy officiating. Private entombment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.
